Abbeville - Kelly Lege Abshire, 29, of Nunez, passed away on Thursday, March 09, 2006, at his residence. Services remembering Kelly will be at 3:00 PM Saturday, March 11, 2006, at David Funeral Home, in Abbeville, with Seminarian Brady LeBlanc officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery. Born on February 1, 1977, Kelly enjoyed listening to music and spending time with his family and pets. Survivors include his wife, Nicole Broussard Abshire of Nunez; daughters, Alenia, Kierstan, Sadie, and Hana Abshire all of Nunez; mother, Maxine Lege of Abbeville; father, Daniel Hanks of Abbeville; brothers, Jeremy Abshire of Denver, Co, Ardy Abshire and wife Charity of Maurice; grandparents, L.B. and Elta Lege of Nunez; niece, Courtney Abshire of Baton Rouge; nephews, Jude and Jared Abshire both of Baton Rouge, Aaron Broussard of Cow Island, and Jason Bodin, Jr. of Abbeville. A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of service. David Funeral Home of Abbeville, is in charge of the arrangements.
