LOVING BROTHER Jeanerette"A Mass of Christian Burial for Russell L. Louviere, 72, will be celebrated on Thursday, November 2, 2006 at 12:00 P.M. in David Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverend Ed Degeyter will serve as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Patoutville. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2006 from 9:00 A.M. until service time in David Funeral Home, with a rosary to be recited at 11:00 A.M. Mr. Louviere passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at 4:20 P.M. in a New Iberia care facility. A native and longtime resident of Jeanerette, Mr. Louviere worked as a grocery clerk at Eldredge Grocery Store for many years. He enjoyed reading and spending time with his family. Survivors include his sisters, Leona Thibodeaux of Jeanerette and Gert Boudreaux and her husband Raymond of Baldwin. Preceding Mr. Louviere in death are his parents, Lodias M. and Noelie Moore Louviere; and brothers, Morris, Envile, Andy A., and Wilson P. Louviere. Serving as pallbearers are Scotty Boudreaux, Seth and Mark Beslin, James and Kevin Langlinais, and Brad Louviere. Named as honorary pallbearers are Nelson Louviere and Raymond Boudreaux. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
