Erath " A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Adolph Carlin, the former Nouia Goutierrez, 95, will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at 3:00 PM with Fr. Wayne Duet officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Erath on Tuesday, January, 2, 2007 from 10:00AM until the time of the services with a recitation of the rosary at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum. Mrs. Carlin, a native of Erath and a resident of Abbeville, died at 10:30PM on December 29, 2006 at an Abbeville Nursing Home. She is survived by her grandson Terry Carlin and his wife Karen of New Iberia; a great grandson, Brett Carlin of New Iberia; a great granddaughter, Cassie Carlin of New Iberia; and a daughter-in-law, Evelyn Touchet Carlin of New Iberia. She is preceded in death by her husband, Adolph Carlin; her parents, Eraste and Noumia Suire Goutierrez; and a son, James Carlin. Pallbearers will be family and friends. David Funeral Home of Erath will be handling the arrangements.
