Loreauville " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mr. Joseph J. Joe Boudreaux, 68 at 2:00 PM Wednesday March 21, 2007 at St. Josephs Catholic Church with Father Mario Romero officiating. Entombment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum in Loreauville. Visiting hours will be observed Tuesday March 20, 2007 from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM and resume Wednesday March 21, 2007 from 8:00 AM until time of services. A rosary will be prayed Tuesday March 20, 2007 at 7:00 PM at the funeral home

Mr. Boudreaux died Monday March 19, 2007 at 12:25 PM in a New Iberia Hospital.

Mr. Boudreaux was a native of New Iberia and a resident of Loreauville. He was a retired electrician with Breaux Baycraft. He enjoyed dancing, gardening, collecting eagles, football, music and sitting on his outdoor swing. His favorite music was Country & Western especially Conway Twitty and Zydeco. He enjoyed Western Movies, especially John Wayne and his proudest Achievement was his family. He was a devoted father and raised six, loving, close-knit children.

He is survived by his wife wife, Genevieve Latiolais Boudreaux of Loreauville, his mother, Annie Mae Boudreaux Breaux of New Iberia , his children, Kenneth Boudreaux and his spouse Karen , Jerry Boudreaux and his spouse Michelle, and Jason Boudreaux and his spouse Angela all of Loreauville, Brenda Boudreaux and partner Peggy Carriere of Church Point, Cathy Castille and her spouse Clint and Jody Boudreaux both of New Iberia, grandchildren, Crystal Courville and spouse Scott, Tanya Viator and Spouse Randy, and Trent Boudreaux all of Loreauville, Katie Prados and partner Brent Boudreaux , Heath Prados, and Justin Boudreaux all of New Iberia, Tasha Bourque and spouse Darryl of Fort Polk, and Joshua Boudreaux of West Point, NY, and great grandchildren, Cassidy Courville, Tristin Bourque, Cameron Courville and Breigh Viator, and a brother Johnny Boudreaux and his spouse Rita of Baldwin. He was preceded in death by his father Jervis J. Boudreaux.

Serving as pallbearers will be his sons Kenneth Boudreaux, Jerry Boudreaux, Jody Boudreaux and Jason Boudreaux, his brother Johnny Boudreaux and grandson Joshua Boudreaux. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be his brother in laws, Melvin Latiolais, Jerry Latiolais, Ronnie Latiolais, Dewey Latiolais, son in law Clint Castille, granddaughters husband Scott Courville, granddaughters husband Randy Viator, granddaughters husband Darryl Bourque, nephew John Boudreaux, Jr., grandson Justin Boudreaux and Heath Prados, daughters partners Peggy Carriere and family friend Dave LeBlanc.

Readers for the funeral mass will be Karen and Michelle Boudreaux and Gift Bearers will be Cyrstal Courville, Katie and Heath Prados, Tasha, Tanya, Justin and Trent Boudreaux.
