Lafayette " A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Robert Bob Landry, Sr. the former Ann Borel, 82, will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2007 at 3:00PM at St. Ann Catholic Church with Fr. Louis Vu officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Wednesday, January 3, 2007 from 3:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Thursday, January 4, 2007 from 8:00AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow at St. Ann Cemetery. Mrs. Landry a native of Catahoula and a resident of Lafayette died on Monday, January 1, 2007 at 5:15PM at Lafayette Heart Hospital. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother who worked at the St. Ann Infirmary over 60 years ago and loved her work there. She was supported by her loving grandson Joshua. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert Bob Landry, Sr of Lafayette; a daughter, Pam and her husband Toup Sonnier of Youngsville; a brother, Walter Borel of Lafayette; two sisters, Mary Thibodeaux, and Hilda Stetson both of Lafayette; and one grandson, Joshua Sonnier. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dalson and Eugenia Bijeau Borel; a son, Robert C. Landry, Jr.; two brothers, Clifford Borel, and Daniel Borel; and three sisters, Lydia Domingue, Olive Cormier, and Nell Winkler. Pallbearers will be Joshua Sonnier, Errol Winkler, James Domingue, Tommy Borel, Ronnie Borel, and Matt Borel. David Funeral Home of Lafayette will be handling arrangements.
