NEW IBERIA " Funeral services will be conducted for Meonce A. Junior Badeaux, Jr., Age 72, on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2006 at 2:00 PM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon John Sarkies officiating. Interment will follow in the Beau Pre Cemetery in Jeanerette. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home on Monday, Feb. 6, 2006 from 4:00 PM till 10:00 PM and the visitation will continue on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2006 at 8:00 AM till services. Mr. Badeaux died on Monday, Feb. 6, 2006 at 12:25 AM upon arrival at Iberia Medical Center. A native of St. Landry Parish, Mr. Badeaux was a longtime resident of New Iberia. He was a Supervisor with Pelican Creamery for 30 years, owner and operator of Js Food Mart in New Iberia and retired as a foreman with Iberia Parish Government. He was affectionally known as PaPa by his grandchildren, great grandchildren and was loved by all. His past time was gardening and cutting his grass. He is survived by his wife, Camellia Sue Robicheaux Badeaux ; son, Wayne J. Badeaux and his wife Darlene; son, Guy A. Badeaux; daughter, Jackie B. Freyou and her husband Dean all of New Iberia, LA; brothers, Ned Badeaux of Port Barre, LA and Nelson Badeaux of Opelousas, LA; grandson, Waylon J. Badeaux of New Iberia, LA; granddaughter, Brooke B. Andersen and her husband Brandon of Thibodeaux, LA; grandson, Brad M. Badeaux; granddaughter, Kristi L. Badeaux; grandson, Derek A. Freyou; granddaughter, Brittany R. Badeaux; great granddaughter, Kaylin M. Badeaux all of New Iberia, LA and a great grandson, Ryan L. Andersen of Thibodeaux, LA. He was preceeded in death by his father, Meonce J. Badeaux, Sr.; mother, Lelia Lalande Badeaux and brother, Dudley Badeaux. Pallbearers will be Guy A. Badeaux, Wayne J. Badeaux, Waylon J. Badeaux, Brad M. Badeaux, Dean Freyou and Derek Freyou. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Lassalle, Brandon Andersen and Harold Freyou. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
