Youngsville " A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Norris T-2 Gerard, 82, will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, August 31, 2009at St. Annes Catholic Church with Father Mouton officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Youngsville on Sunday, August 30, 2009 from 2:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM and will resume on Monday, August 31, 2009 at 8:00AM until the time of services. Interment will be held at St. Annes Mausoleum. A native and resident of Youngsville, Mr. Gerard died Thursday, August 27, 2009 at 7:55AM at his residence. His main hobby was working throughout his life. He was a guard during Nuremburg Trials while serving with the US Army in WWII. He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Leline Boudreaux Gerard; three sons, Ronald Gerard and his wife Rhonda Dronet of Milton, Steven Gerard and his wife Lorraine Hebert of Milton, Eddie Gerard and his wife Jodie Doucet of Milton; two brothers, Allen Gerard of Lafayette and Sidney Gerard of Peaks Island, ME; five grandchildren Sara, Jessica, Brandy, Britni and Dylan Gerard; and two step grandchildren, Landon and Trae Fitzgerald. He was preceded in death by his parents Ix and Noemie Breaux Gerard; three brothers Willis, Cleveland and Eugene Gerard. Serving as pallbearers will be Ronald Gerard, Steven Gerard, Eddie Gerard, Dylan Gerard, Jude Gerard and John Lee Gerard. Honorary pallbearers will be Allen Gerard, Sidney Gerard, Cliff Viator, and Mitchell Gerard.
