Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 8, 2006 at 10 AM at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Milton for Beverly Gail LaFargue, formerly Beverly Gayle Singletary, 68. Gail was born on September 13, 1937 in Sulphur, La. She went to be with the Lord on June 6, 2006 at 12:25 PM at Lafayette General Hospital. The Rev. Bill Gearhart will conduct the funeral service. Burial will follow at Orange Grove cemetery in Lake Charles, La. with the Rev. T.L. Herlong, officiating. She is survived by her husband, Jeron LaFargue, of Lafayette; two daughters, Julie Doster, and husband the Rev. David of Morganton, N.C., and Dana Lee Dixon, and her husband Robert, of Priest River, Idaho; a step-son, Douglas LaFargue and wife Jan of Fayetteville, Ark., step-daughter, Elena Coffman and her husband Dr. Dale of Baton Rouge, La. sister, Nancy Sherroid and husband James, three brothers; Phillip Singletary and his wife Jana of Tulsa, Ok., William Bill Singletary of Springdale , Ar., and James Singletary of Golfport, Fl., one sister-in-law; Susan Kyle and husband James of Sulphur,La. and 5 grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren, and 2 step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Mattie Mae Corley Singletary, Sr. and one brother Roy Singletary, Jr. The family requests that visitation be observed Wednesday, June, 7,2006 from 5 PM till 8 PM and continue Thursday June 8,2006 from 8AM until service time at Davids Funeral Home 316 Youngsville Highway, Lafayette, La. A Word of Liturgy will be recited at 7 PM at Davids Funeral Home.
