Erath - Funeral services for Mr. Jean Joseph Rogers "Blue" Meyers age, 80, will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2007 at 3:00 PM, David Funeral Home Chapel. Francis Plaisance will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until time of service. Internment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Erath, La.

Mr. Meyers passed away on Friday, March 30, 2007 at 3:15 PM at the Naomi Heights Nursing Home in Alexandria, La.

Mr. Meyers was a native of Erath, La., and a resident of Alexandria, La. He was a veteran of the Korean War.

Surivors include his daughters; Ardelia Richey and her husband Elliott, and Renita Campbell, both of Alexandria, La., and Clare Migues and her husband Adam of New Iberia, La. Six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Preceding Mr.Meyers in death were his parents Livoday and Olita Des ormeaux; his wife Olga LeBlanc Meyers; sister, Una Meyers Collier, two brothers, Joseph Dallas "Brown" Meyers and Clifford Joseph "Ham" Meyers.

David funeral Home of Erath is in charge of arrangements.
