Abbeville " Funeral services will be conducted for Mr. Webster Jude Ham LeBlanc, 62, on Friday, May 18, 2007 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Magdeline Catholic Church with Father Gilbert Dutel and Father Mike Champagne officaing. Interment will be St. Paul Mausoleum. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Vermilion Parish Honor Guard. Visitation will begin on Thursday, May 17, 2007 at 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM and resume on Friday, May 18, 2007 at 8:00 until services. A rosary will be prayed on Thursday at 7:00 PM by the Men of Mary. So many cherished memories of a beloved spouse and father. How we lived our lives and who we are today is a result of his open heart. All his affection, strength and inspiration will always surround us. Websters family praises his courage, calm dignity and honest caring. He had a way of remembering the things that mattered. Webster, born July 30, 1944, in Abbeville was the son of Dudley John LeBlanc and Mavis Marceaux. He was the second to oldest of one sister, Gayle Bourque (deceased) and two brothers, Roger LeBlanc of Kaplan and Keith LeBlanc of Abbeville. Webster married Jane Romero LeBlanc on February 14, 1970. They enjoyed the Abbeville area and developed River Oak Farm during their 37 years of marriage. Webster had two daughters, Marcelle F. LeBlanc of Los Angeles and Sara E. LeBlanc of Abbeville. Their father will always be an inspiration in their lives. He taught them how In The Valleys I Grow . Webster served in the US Navy during the Viet Nam Conflict and was a member of the American Legion. After working 30 years for Texaco, Webster retired and later returned to Chevron/Texaco employment as a consultant. Webster cherished his work and the friends he made.
