View Video Tribute Lafayette- Funeral services for Robert Kost, Sr., 60, will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2007 at 2:00PM at David Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 8, 2007 from 10:00AM until 10:00PM. Visitation will resume on Saturday, June 9, 2007 from 8:00AM until time of service. Interment will follow at St. Anne Cemetery. Mr. Kost, a native of San Francisco and a resident of Lafayette, died on Thursday, June 07, 2007 at 4:20AM at Lafayette. He is survived by his spouse, Hilda Kost of Lafayette; his mother, Pauline Kost of Marrero; two sons, Robert M. Kost, Jr. of Mississippi and James J. Kost and his wife Caron of Mississippi; three daughters, Tammy Desormeaux and her husband James Darren of Youngsville, Annette Foster and her husband Chris of Scott and Cita Arceneaux and her husband Douglas of Youngsville; two brothers, Alvin Kost of New Orleans and Mike Kost of Mississippi; nine grandchildren, Samantha Desormeaux, Christopher Foster, Sara Foster, Jake Arceneaux, Jennifer Sanders, Debra Burke, Elizabeth Burke, Emily Kost and Tiffany Kost; and four great grandchildren, Gregory Mills, Malachi Burke, Devon Ciaddock and Loren Wolf. He is preceded in death by his father, George Kost. Pallbearers will be Robert M. Kost, Jr., James J. Kost, Chris Foster, Doug Arceneaux, Darren Desormeaux, and Alvin Kost, Jr. David Funeral Home of Lafayette will be handling arrangements.
