Jeanerette " Funeral services will be conducted for Earl J. Aucoin, 72 on Friday, February 6, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Father Jesu Rathinam in the David Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Friday, February 6, 2009 at 10:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 AM. A native of Jeanerette and resident of Jonesville, LA, Mr. Aucoin died on Sunday, February 1, 2009 at 2:05 PM in a Ferriday, LA hospital. He was a retired crew boat operator. He is survived by his daughters, Darlene Young and her husband Karl of Centerville and Tammy Zweigle and her husband Dennis of Little Rock, AR; his son, Rickey Aucoin and his wife Virginia of Franklin; his brothers, Hubert Aucoin of Larose and Gustave Aucoin of St. Martinville; his sisters, Ruth Boudreaux of Coteau Holmes and Odile Richard of Lafayette; his granddaughters, Crystal Crow of Galliano and Nicole Scott Carrington of Dallas, TX; his grandsons, Derek Young of Centerville and Landon Zweigle of Little Rock, AR and his great grandson Rex Kiger of Galliano. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gustave and Julia Chataignier Aucoin; his brothers, Damusca Aucoin, Andy Aucoin, Sr. and Andrew Aucoin, Sr.; his sisters, Gertrude Broussard, Alberta Baudoin and Anna Derise and his great grandchild, Mia Kiger. Pallbearers will be Rickey Aucoin, Gus Aucoin, John Moonie Aucoin, Clemile Baudoin, Allen Baudoin and Blane Mayon.
