Abbeville - A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Severin Gaspard, Jr., the former Eve Clement, 83, will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 2:00PM at David Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Faulk officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00AM until time of service. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. Mrs. Gaspard, a native of Abbeville and a residence of Erath, died Friday, July 6, 2007 at 8:00AM in Abbeville. She is survived by her two sons, Ray Allen Gaspard, Sr. and his wife Joyce of Kaplan and Donald J. Gaspard, Sr. and his wife Ruby of Erath; her brother, Bill Clement of Abbeville; eight grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Severin Gaspard, Jr., her father, Adam Clement, her mother Alzina Breaux, her brother Rene Clement, and three great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Venessa Bodine, Donald Gaspard, Jr., Michael Bodine, Ray Gaspard, Jr., Anthony Gaspard and Emery Gaspard. David Funeral Home of Abbeville is in charge of arrangements.
