Edith Cormier Hebert

Lafayette " A Mass of Christian Burial for Edith Cormier Hebert, 91, will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at 2:00 PM at The David Funeral Home Chapel with Fr. Dismas Mauk officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 from 12:30 PM until service time with a recitation of the rosary at 1:00 PM. Mrs. Hebert, a native of Carencro and resident of Lafayette passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at 2:56 AM at Maison de Lafayette. She was an employee of the Lafayette Parish School Board, serving as a school cafeteria worker for twelve years. She is survived by her daughter, Pat Hernandez and her husband Glenn of Lafayette, her son Gerald Ancelet and his wife Lili of Port Arthur TX; two nieces, Geraldine Schexnaider and Connie Richard, both of Carencro and another daughter. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Francis A. Hebert; her parents Arcade and Louise Stelly Cormier; sister, Lauris Guilbeau and son, Francis Butch Hebert. Serving as pallbearers will be Pervis Boudreaux, Larry Comeaux, Tyler Aucoin, Wayne West, Tim Harmon, and Andrus Schexnaider David Funeral Home of Lafayette will be handling arrangements.
