Lafayette - Memorial services will be held honoring Christopher B. Bernard, 29, at Adrienne's house on Monday, Septemeber 7, 2009 at 1:00PM. A native and Opelousas and resident of Lafayette, Chris died on Friday, September 4, 2009. He was survived by his mother, Melanie Young Rose of Krotz Springs; his father, Milton J. Bernard Jr. of Leonville; his son, Corbin Zachary Bernard of Lafayette; his companion Adrienne May of Lafayette; his brother Michael Paul Bernard of Duson; two sister, Stephanie Lynne Bruns of Krotz Springs and Maria Champagne of Youngsville; his paternal grandmother Sadie Bernard of Opelousas; and his stepmother, Shirley Bernard of Leonville.
