Abbeville " A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Harold Primeaux,75, will be held on Friday, August 14, 2009 at 10:00AM at St. Theresa Catholic Church with Father Kenneth Mayne officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Thursday, August 13, 2009 beginning at 2:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, August 14, 2009 from 8:00 AM until time of services. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. A native of Maurice and resident of Abbeville, Mr. Primeaux died on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 7:20AM at East Ridge Nursing Home in Abbeville. Mr. Primeaux was retired from the oilfield industry where he was a superintendent. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus, council #6496, served as Chancellor of the council and was an usher for St. Theresas Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Imae Toups Primeaux of Abbeville; two sons, Alvin Primeaux and his wife Karla of Abbeville, Kenneth and his fiance Margaret of Abbeville; two daughters, Rosalind P. LeBoeuf and her husband Willie of Las Vegas NV, and Phyllis P. Vincent and her husband Virgil of Katy TX; 11 grandchildren, Jarrod Primeaux of Kaplan, Pamela Bellard of Church Point, Wendy St. Julien of Katy TX, Katie Kidd of Katy TX, Kyle Vincent of Katy TX, Rani Broussard of Abbeville, Steffan Primeaux of Abbeville, Cy Primeaux of Abbeville, Gabriel LeBoeuf of Las Vegas NV, Matthew LeBoeuf of Lubbock TX, and Kristi LeBoeuf of Houston TX; as well as 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Boniface Primeaux and Una Hebert, and two brothers, Carroll Primeaux and Alfred Primeaux.
