Youngsville - Services for Raymond Pan Romero, 78, will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at 10:00AM at First Baptist Church of Youngsville with Rev. Mark Godin officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 from 10:00AM until 10:00PM. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, July 18, 2007 from 8:00AM until time of service. Interment will follow at St. Anne Cemetery. Mr. Romero, a native of Lafayette parish and a resident of Youngsville, died on Sunday, July 15, 2007 at 4:37PM at Eunice. He was a very active man. He was a heavy equipment operator and a bridge tender. He also liked fishing with his grandson and dancing. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Youngsville. He is survived by his three sons, Larry Romero of Scranton, ARK, Terry James Romero of Arnaudville and Michael Romero of Calhoun; two daughters, Patricia Diane Schlesenger of Covington and Donna Lynn Romero of Bogalusa; a brother, Dalton Romero of Youngsville; and three sisters, Norma R. Rouley of Coteau, Dorothy R. Romero of Coteau and Thelma R. Broussard of Maurice. Mr. Romero is preceded in death by his parents, Odressie and Edith Touchet Romero. Pallbearers will be Larry Romero, Michael Romero, Jimmy Romero, Blake Romero, Allen Broussard and Mike Faison. Honorary Pallbearers will be Terry James Romero, Dalton Romero and Quinton Romero. David Funeral Home of Lafayette will be handling arrangements. - .
