Jeanerette " Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Edgar J. Duhon, Sr., the former Luna Guillotte, 61, at 3:00 PM Monday, July 23, 2007 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Jody Simoneaux officiating. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Sunday, July 22, 2007 at 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM and will resume Monday, July 23, 2007 at 8:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Sunday at 6:30 PM.

A native and lifelong resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Duhon died at 4:15 AM Saturday, July 21, 2007, in a New Iberia hospital.

She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, she like to spend time with her grandkids, dancing whether it was at a local festival, Mardi Gras Parade or family gatherings. Luna liked to go to the camp with family and friends and also enjoyed her early morning coffee with her sister before making her morning walks.

She is survived by her husband, Edgar J. Duhon, Sr. of Jeanerette; her sons, E. J. Duhon, III and his wife Cyd, and Bobby J. Duhon, both of Jeanerette; her daughters, Samantha Derouen and her husband Lynnwood of Patoutville, and Stacie Little and her husband Elridge of Grand Marais; her niece, Tracies Raggette and her husband Keith of Jeanerette; her sisters, Anna Mae Hebert and Eula Segura, both of Jeanerette; her brothers, Nelson J. Guillotte of Jeanerette, and Earl J. Guillotte, Sr. of Lake Charles; and her grandchildren, Enos Landry, Tyler Duhon, Kayla Duhon, all of Jeanerertte, Joshua Derouen of Patoutville, Logan and Lendyn Little, both of Grand Marais, and Hunter Raggette of Jeanerette.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hector and Louisiana Broussard Guillotte; her brothers, Lester, Chester and Wilson Guillotte; and her sister, Linda Guillotte.

Pallbearers will be E. J. Duhon, III, Bobby J. Duhon, Elridge Little, Lynnwood Derouen, Larry Segura and Tyler Duhon.

Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Raggette, Derick Segura, Nelson Guillotte, Earl Guillotte and Enos Landry.
