Erath " Funeral Services for Chad Joseph Renard, Sr., 33, will be held at 10:00AM on Monday, October 13, 2008 at the David Funeral Home Chapel in Erath with Rev. John Vining officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral of Erath on Sunday, October 12, 2008 from 10:00 AM until 9:00PM. Visitation will resume on Monday, October 13, 2008 from 8:00AM until Service. Interment will follow at the LeBlanc Cemetery.
Mr. Renard a native and resident of Erath died at 7:06 AM on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at his residence. He was a loving husband and father who loved spending time with his children, hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife Kristy Leger Renard of Erath; one son Chad C. J. Renard, Jr. of Erath; one daughter Lysia Marie Renard of Erath; one brother Cordell Lirette of Erath; and two sisters Chiquita Budd of Erath and Francine Simon of Tylertown, Mississippi; and several neices and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Alice Renard of Delcambre; and two brothers, Reggie Lirette and Berton Lirette.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmie Leger, Jr.; Timothy Schouest, III; Billy Budd; Jody Broussard; Cordell Lirette; and Janson Simon. Honorary pallbearers will be Brad Daigle, David Hardin, and Steve Reincke.
David Funeral Home of Erath at 209 E. Putnam Street (337)937-0405 will be handling the arrangements.
