Abbeville - Memorial Services will be held at a later date for Mr. Richard Joseph Charpentier, age 43, who passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2008 at 9:35AM at his residence in Abbeville. Mr. Charpentier was a native of Houma and a resident of Abbeville. He was a crane manager in the oilfield industry. Mr. Charpentier is survived by his wife, Starr Henderson Charpentier, of Abbeville; three sons; Anthony and wife Jennifer, Jonathan and Gregory, all of Abbeville; his parents, Jerry and Linda Rouse Charpentier, of Foley Alabama; two brothers, Destry Charpentier and wife Blanche of Monroe, La., and Micah Charpentier of Beaux Bridge; three sisters, Bonnie Vizier and husband Carl of Houma, Lana of Tenneessee, JLynn Charpentier of Foley, Alabama; and two grandchildren.
