Abbeville " Funeral Services for Mrs. Betty Jean Marie Babineaux, were held on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at 2:00PM at David Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Pete Jones officiating. Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 from 10:00 AM until the time of services. Interment followed at St. Paul Cemetery.
Mrs. Babineaux, age 58, a native and resident of Abbeville, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2008 at 11:58 PM at her daughters residence .
She is survived by one son, Alfred Wick, Jr of Delcambre; four daughters, Jennifer and Marilyn Wick of Abbeville, Mary Wick and fianc Eddie Miller of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, and Victoria W. Dean and her husband Cyrus of Grand Junction, Colorado; a special friend Loveless Breaux, seven sisters and five brothers, and host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Robley and Eva Fields Turner, Sr.; her first husband Alfred C. Wick, Sr.; her second husband Rodney Babineaux, Sr.; one son Rodney Babineaux, Jr.; one grandson Zachary Paul Walsh, Jr.; and son-in-law Gannon Broussard, Sr.
Pallbearers will be: Eddie Miller, Randall Abshire, Alfred Wick, Jr., Gannon Broussard, Jr.; Roy Beardeaux, Rodney Turner, Ralph Harcum, and Mike Kimble. Honorary Pallbearer will be Loveless Breaux.
David Funeral Home of Abbeville at 2600 Charity Street (337)893-3777 were in charge of the arrangements.
