Leroy J. Estilette

New Iberia"Funeral services for Mr. Leroy Joseph Estilette, 65, will be held on Friday, October 17, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. in David Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon John Sarkies will officiate. Entombment will follow in Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2008 from 3:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. in David Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Friday from 8:00 A.M. until service time in the funeral home. Mr. Estiliette passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 2:00 A.M. in his New Iberia residence. A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mr. Estilette was an equipment operator in the construction industry. He enjoyed cooking and was an animal lover. Mr. Estilette was a dedicated son who cared for his mother for many years until her death in 2002. Survivors include his son, Leroy J. Estilette, Jr. of Pensacola, FL; sister, Florence Dugas of New Iberia; and a host of other relatives and friends. Preceding Mr. Estilette in death were his parents, Lazaire and Felicie Vincent Estilette; and brothers, Lawrence and Carroll Estilette. Serving as pallbearers are Cornell Bonin, Cy Migues, Frank French, Larry Oneillion, Bob White, Alfred Delhomme, III, and Whitney Romero. David Funeral Home of New Iberia, 1101 Trotter Street, 369-6336 is in charge of arrangements.
