Erath " A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. John M. Moss the Former Ella Moss, 84, will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Wayne Duet officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Erath on Monday, January 26, 2009 beginning at 2:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 from 8:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery. Mrs. Moss a native and resident of Abbeville died at 10:20PM on Saturday, January 24, 2009 at Abbeville General Hospital. Everyone who met her became special to her. Ella had a loving heart and an ear for everyone she met. She loved to read and correspond, debate, and discuss current events. She was blessed with the gift of patience, understanding, confidence, and storytelling. She is survived by a son, Everett and his wife Rita Stoute Moss of Erath; three grandchildren, A.J. Moss, Shelby Moss, and Riley Moss all of Erath; a sister in law, Mattie Moss; her god children, and many family and friends. She was preceded in death her husband, John M. Moss; parents, Robert Everett and Agnes Boudreaux Moss; four brothers, Wallace, Claudie, Minor, and Murphy Moss; and two sisters, Mytice Toups and Odile Derouen. Serving as pallbearers will be Christopher LeBlanc, Nathan LeBlanc, A.J. Moss, Quince LeBlanc, Randy Roy, and Guy Nerren. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Paul Trahan, Eric Roy, Laddie Derouen, Adam Chuck Toups, Chad Girouard, Darius Girouard, Jude LeBlanc. David Funeral Home of Erath at 209 E.
