New Iberia " A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for Mrs. Jules Broussard, Age 82, the former Leona Tina Meyers on Monday January 26, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Nativity Of Our Lady Catholic Church with Fr. Mike Arnaud officiating. Interment will follow in Nativity Of Our Lady Mausoleum. The family is requesting visiting hours Sunday January 25, 2009 from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and will resume Monday January 26, 2009 from 8:00 AM until time of services. A rosary will be prayed Sunday evening at 6:30 PM in the funeral home. Mrs. Broussard was a native of Iberia Parish and a resident of New Iberia. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, going to mass and cooking. Mrs. Broussard is survived by three daughters, Doreen Norman and her husband James, Elaine Vice and her husband John and Bonnie Bourque and her husband Gordy all of New Iberia ; her brothers, Oswald Meyers and Clifford Meyers both of New Iberia; her grandsons, Jeremy Vice of London, England and Eric Vice of Broussard; her granddaughters, Anne Franks of Breaux Bridge, Jaime Vice Goddard of Atlanta, Georgia, Starla Bonin of New Iberia, Amber Romero of Lafayette; her great grandsons, Dakota Romero of Lafayette, Carson Romero of Lafayette, Brett James Franks of Arkansas, and Graham Karl Jules Goddard of Atlanta, Georgia; her great granddaughters, Hailey Vice of London, England, Chantelle Tucker of New Iberia, and Celeste Vice of London, England; her great great grandson Gage Tucker of New Iberia and her great great granddaughter Keely Tucker of New Iberia. Mrs. Broussard was preceded in death by her husband Jules Broussard, her parents Andrew Meyers and Gussie Broussard Meyers, and her sisters Grace Dorcey and Delores Viator. Serving as pallbearers will be John Vice, Robby Tucker, Gordy Bourque, Clifford Meyers, Eric Vice and Kurt Goddard.
