John Paul Eskind

December 18, 1941 — October 1, 2010

New Iberia- A gathering of family and friends will be held for John Paul Mouse Eskind, Age 68, Monday October 4, 2010 from 3:00PM until 10:00PM with a Rosary service at 7:00PM. A native of Freetown and longtime resident of New Iberia, Mr. Eskind died Friday October 1, 2010 at 6:30AM in a Lafayette hospital. He worked for North American Salt for 30 years as a diesel mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, oil painting and watching sports on television. Survivors include his wife Dianna Fitch Eskind of New Iberia; children, Wendy Ann Eskind, Cindy Lynn Eskind Romero and husband Tony, Kelly Marie Eskind Bourque and husband Eric and Corey John Eskind all of New Iberia; one sister, Julia May Schexnayder of Jeanerette and his grandchildren, Molly Delle Romero Broussard and husband Clint, Tara Nicole Romero, Damon Michael Romero, Cammie Renee Romero, Madison Elizabeth Eskind, Tyler Lee Bourque and Landon Lee Bourque. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul John Eskine and Martha Tabb Eskind and a sister, Mary Agnes Guillotte. David Funeral Home, 1101 Trotter St. New Iberia, La.
