Loving Brother and Friend Jeanerette " Memorial Services will be conducted for Melvin J. Taboo Domingues, Age 84, at 12 Noon Tuesday March 3, 2009 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Jody Simoneaux officiating. Inurnment will follow in St. Johns Cemetery. He died Saturday February 21, 2009 at his residence in Jeanerette. A native and lifelong resident of Jeanerette, Mr. Domingues was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Survivors include one sister; Barbara D. LeJeune and husband Robert of Lafayette, his companion; Dot Landry of Jeanerette and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; Macena and Alma Trahan Domingues, two brothers; Paul and Leroy Domingues and two sisters; Verna D. Graffeo and Merlin Domingues.
