Larry Mark Landry

Jeanerette- Funeral services will be conducted for Larry Mark Landry, age 77, Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 10:00AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Rev. Jody Simoneaux officiating. Interment will follow in St. John the Evangelist Mausoleum. Visitation will be Monday, April 26, 2010 from 2:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of a Rosary at 6:30PM. Visitation will resume Tuesday, April 27, 2010 from 8:00AM until the time of service.

A native and resident of Jeanerette, Mr. Landry passed away Sunday, April 25, 2010 at 8:56AM at his residence. Mr. Landry served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He played baseball in the minor leagues; he enjoyed playing tennis and loved to fish. Mr. Landry retired from Cabot Corporation; he was also a member of the American Legion Post #549 Jeanerette and the V.F.W. Post 8150 Jeanerette.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Clement Landry of Jeanerette; his sons, Greg Landry and wife Kathi of Lafayette; and Brad Landry and wife Tracy of New Iberia; his daughters, Pam Fredrick and husband Darrell of Jeanerette; Liz Caillier and husband Craig of New Iberia; and Rachel Landry of Broussard; his grandchildren, Keith Jenkins of Lafayette; Gwen Jacob of Youngsville; Erica Sandifer of Lafayette; Tyler Landry, Nicholas Landry and Ashlie Landry, all of New Iberia; Jill Switzer of Broussard; Grant Switzer of Jeanerette; Andrew Switzer of Jeanerette; and Ethan and Alex Caillier, both of New Iberia; and his great-grandchildren, Austin Jenkins of Lafayette; Jamison Jacob of Youngsville; Makenzie and Kamryn Sandifer, both of Lafayette; and Koryn Switzer of Jeanerette.

Mr. Landry was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur G. Landry, Sr. and Archie Wilson Landry, and his brother, Arthur G. Landry, Jr.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tyler Landry, Nicholas Landry, Grant Switzer, Andrew Switzer, Richard Clement and George Derise.

Honorary pallbearers will be A. J. Telotta and Eddie Miller.
