Austin Peltier

New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mr. Austin Joseph Peltier, age 92, at 10:00 AM Wednesday February 24, 2010 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Fr. D. Blaine Clement officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a Rosary being prayed at 6:30 PM. Visitation will resume Wednesday February 24, 2010 from 8:00 AM until service time.

Mr. Peltier died Saturday February 20, 2010 at 11:50 PM in an Abbeville Health Care Facility. He was a native of Iberia Parish and a resident of Abbeville and a former resident of New Iberia. Mr. Peltier was a veteran of the Navy having served in WW II.

Survivors include his children: Lee Peltier and his wife Kay of Tyler Texas, Patricia P. Grindle and her husband Tom of Kemp, Texas, Sister: Laura Mae Dautreuil of Missouri, Brother: Clifton Peltier of Bayou Boeuf, Grandchildren: Wendy Ann Grindle, Scott Lee Peltier, Pamela Lynn Peterson and 5 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Gladys Badeaux Peltier, Parents: Teles Peltier and Eunice Rodriguez Peltier, Grandson: Richard Grindle, Brothers: Wilton Peltier, Robert Peltier.

David Funeral Home of 1101 Trotter Street, New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
