Erath " Funeral Services for Mrs. Dennis Sonnier, Sr. the former Barbara Lynn Breaux, 57, will be held at 3:00PM on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at David Funeral Parlor of Erath with Deacon David Vaughn officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Erath on Saturday, May 1, 2010 from 10:00AM until 10:00PM. Private interment will be at a later date. Mrs. Sonnier a native of Abbeville and a resident of Erath died at 2:30AM on Friday, April 30, 2010 at Abbeville General Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Dennis D. Sonnier, Sr. of Erath; two daughters, Tonia Sonnier and her companion Keith Gisclair of Erath and Joni Richardson and her husband Allen of Abbeville; son, Dennis D. Sonnier, Jr. of Erath; Three Sisters, Brinda Breaux of Erath, Kitty Breaux of Abbeville, and Charlette Reems and Larry of Illinois; brother, Ricky Breaux of Delcambre, eight grandchildren, and two step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Paul J. and lilly Taylor Breaux. David Funeral Home of Erath at 209 E. Putnam St. (337)937-0405 will be handling the arrangements
