Youngsville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM for Mrs. Enith Romero Bourque, 101, on Monday, May 3, 2010 at St. Anne Catholic Church with Fr. Keith Landry officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Youngsville on Sunday, May 2, 2010 from 10:00AM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 6:30PM. Visitation will resume on Monday, May 3, 2010 from 8:00AM until the time of services. Interment will follow at St. Anne Cemetery. A native of Youngsville and resident of Broussard, Mrs. Bourque passed away on Friday, April 30, 2010 at 3:10PM at Camelot of Broussard. She enjoyed going to church and was a caregiver to anyone in need. Her favorite words were "Whatever, whatever." She was a nurse in doctor's offices and the first hospital in Youngsville and worked in the first David Funeral Home in Youngsville. She also worked for a sugar cane refinery and Vallot's Nursery. She is survived by her two daughters, Marie Louise Broussard and her husband Antoine and Mary Ann Maturin and her husband Loifey, all of Youngsville; two sons, John Rodney Bourque and his wife Betty and Russell "Chick" James Bourque and his wife Brenda, all of Youngsville; twenty grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Roy Bourque, Sr.; her parents, Aristile Romero and Clementine Touchet Romero; two sons, Joseph Roy Bourque, Jr. and Francis George Bourque; two grandchildren, John Bradley Broussard and infant Bourque; as well as six brothers and four sisters. Serving as pallbearers will be John Bourque, Jr., Gregory Bourque, Troy Bourque, Corey Bourque, Macy Broussard and William Stelly. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Calvin Broussard, Larry Mosier and Elmo Bourque.
