New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Jessica Jane Jessie Babineaux Maturin, Age 60, at 11:00AM Wednesday August 25, 2010 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Mark Derise and Father Gary Schexnayder officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday August 24, 2010 from 11:00AM until 10:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume Wednesday from 8:00AM until service time. A native of St. Martinville and longtime resident of Iberia Parish, Mrs. Maturin died Monday August 23, 2010 at 2:00AM at her residence in Iberia Parish. Jessica, known as "Jessie or Da Da" to her family and friends. One of two siblings born to Jessie and Loudell Rouly Babineaux. She was married to Willis "Buddy" Maturin, Jr. and the late Daniel Wayne Hebert. She worked as an inventory/parts clerk in the aviation industry with PHI, Air Logistics, and Rotocraft Leasing for 25 years. While employed she made many friends and was referred to as "Sarge" because of her "can-do" attitude. Her favorite motto was "Git-R-Done". She often said "If I can't get what you ordered, then you probably don't need it . Her hobbies included going fishing at Toledo Bend, 4-wheeler riding, cooking Cajun food, and her annual beach trip with the "Ladies" from work. Survivors include her children, Chad E. Hebert and wife Shanon of Chatom, Alabama, Kimberly Hebert Autin and Ashley Hebert both of New Iberia; one sister, Cynthia Tina Babineaux of Toledo Bend; grandchildren, Jazzi Hebert of Chatom, Alabama and Cheyenne Autin of New Iberia; step children, Chad Maturin and wife Ginger, Gordy Maturin and wife Kristi, Kenneth Maturin and Betsy Maturin all of New Iberia; step grandchildren, Travon and Ashantia Blanchard, Gracie Lee, Abigail, Ayden, Evan, Mallorie and Lanie Maturin all of New Iberia. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Daniel Wayne Hebert and her parents, Jessie J. and Loudell Rouly Babineaux. Pallbearers will be Ricky Frederick, Preston Toups, Robert Chaumont, Chad and Gordy Maturin and Kenneth Rouly. Honorary pallbearers will be Jazzi Hebert, Cheyenne Autin and Bridgette Frederick, the PHI Lady Friends and the Rotocraft Lady Friends.
