Rodney P. Fremin

February 16, 1966 — August 25, 2010

New Iberia- Funeral services will be conducted for Rodney Pierre Fremin, age 44, Monday, August 30, 2010 at 1:30PM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Fr. Mark Derise officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Family Mausoleum. Visitation will begin Sunday, August 29, 2010 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 6:00PM. Visitation will resume Monday from 9:00AM until the time of service.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Fremin passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 2:15PM in a local hospital. Mr. Fremin was a licensed arborist; he was owner of Rodney Fremins All Trees and owner/operator of Fremins Fireworks. He loved the outdoors, listening to music and collecting antiques. Rodney loved life and spending time with his family and friends especially his son.

Mr. Fremin is survived by his son, Larson Andrew Fremin and his son's mother, Michelle Tauzin, both of Loreauville; his parents, Rayward Fremin, Sr. and Velta Bourque Fremin of New Iberia; brothers, David J. Fremin, Sr. and wife, Lillian, Rayward J. Fremin, Jr. and wife Brenda, Ross A. Fremin and wife Toni, Jeremy P. Fremin and wife Tammy, sisters, Annette F. Poirrier and husband Rickey Poirrier, Sr., Natilie Fremin, Alison F. Weisz and husband Lyle, all of New Iberia; Pauline F. Sanchez and husband Jeff of Houston, TX; Mary Norris and husband Rodney of New Iberia; 33 Beloved Nieces and Nephews, 26 Beloved Great Nieces and Nephews.

Rodney was preceded in death by his Paternal Grand Parents: Wilton and Bertha Viator Fremin, Maternal Grand Parents: Pierre and Paula Derouen Bourque,and Florence Reaux Bourque.

Pallbearers will be Larson A. Fremin, Rusty Migues, David Fremin, Jr., Brenon Fremin, Rickey Poirrier, Rayward Fremin, III.

Honorary pallbearers will be Rene Fremin, Brandon Fremin, Kyle Fremin, Cody Poirrier, Damian Fremin, Austin Sanchez, Jake Sanchez, Stefan Norris, Ethan Norris and Derek Weisz.
