Keith J. Derouen

Jeanerette " Funeral services will be conducted for Keith Joseph Derouen, age 57,at 10:30 AM Thursday, August 12, 2010 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Jody Simoneaux officiating. Interment will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery in Patoutville.

Visitation will be Wednesday August 11, 2010 from 1:00 PM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 6:30 PM. Visitation will resume Thursday, August 12, 2010 at 8:00 AM until service time.

A resident of Jeanerette, Keith died Monday, August 9, 2010 at 1:42 AM in a New Iberia health care facility.

Keith enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his companion, Ruth Broussard of Jeanerette; Daughter,Megan Broussard of Jeanerette; brother, Kardell Derouen of New Iberia; sister, Charmaine Babineaux and her husband Danny of New Iberia and his step- grandchildren, Erin Broussard, Zachary Broussard, Troy Broussard, Matthew Broussard, Ryan Broussard, Carli Broussard and Kyle Copp.

He was preceded in death by his parents:, Ulysses Derouen and Dolores Durocher Derouen.

Pallbearers will be Kardell Derouen, Danny Babineaux, Chad Broussard, Kevin Broussard, Bruce Broussard and Brandin Williams.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kirk Derouen and Shaun Roders.
