New Iberia " Funeral services will be conducted for Bradley J. Rosser, 38, on Friday, August 13, 2010 at 1:00 PM atAssembly Christian Centerwith Rev. Paul Neel officiating. Military Honors will be presented by V.F. W. Post 1982 of New Iberia. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 12, 2010 beginning at 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM and resume on Friday, August 13, 2010 at 9:00 AM until services. A native of Scranton, PA and a resident of Church Point, Mr. Rosser died on Monday, August 9, 2010 at 8:40 AM in a Lafayette hospital. He was employed at Sams Club in Lafayette and was a member of the Assembly Christian Center where he sang in the choir. In high school he was a member of the Drama Club. He served in the US Navy. He loved Nascar Racing and was an avid fan of Jimmy Johnson. He loved his family and was a father to eight adopted children. He is survived by his wife Karen Champagne Rosser; his mother, Bobbi Sunderland Erickson and step-father, Michael Erickson both of Riverview, FL; his children, Sarah Rosser, Frank Rosser, Monika Rosser, Lynn Rosser, Ashleigh Rosser, Derrick Rosser, Lauren Rosser and Jason Rosser all of Church Point; his ½ brother, Brian Rosser of Olyphant, PA; his step-brother, Ben Erickson of Billings, MT; his step-son, Harvey Boyette of Church Point; his cousins, Jimmy Courville of Church Point and Brad Courville of New Iberia and his paternal grandmother, Gladys Rosser of Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Rosser. Pallbearers will be Chris Bourque, Greg Linenberger, Butch Winbush, Dr. Tony Oberle, Chuck Trim and Brad Courville.Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Courville and Harvey Boyett.David Funeral Home of New Iberia, 1101 Trotter St. (337) 369-6336 is in charge of arrangements.
