New Iberia " A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday September 7, 2010 at 11:00AM at St. Peters Catholic Church with Father Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday September 6, 2010 from 4:00PM until 9:00PM with a Rosary being conducted by his Grandson Quinn Hebert at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume Tuesday September 7, from 8:00AM until service time. Military graveside services will be conducted by the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard. A native of Loreauville and longtime resident of New Iberia, Mr. Hebert died Friday September 3, 2010 at 7:45PM at Iberia Medical Center. Mr. Hebert was retired from Schlumberger after 30 years of service and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed gardening and weightlifting. He is survived by one son, Eric J. Hebert and wife Trudy of Broussard; one grandson, Quinn Hebert of Broussard; one sister, Dorothy H. Liberto of River Ridge and a brother, Joseph Ray Hebert of Gaithersburg, Maryland. He was preceded in death by his wife, Aline Martinez Hebert; parents, Sidney Cap Hebert and Corinne Provost Hebert; two brothers, Russell and Ralph Hebert and two sisters, Connie H. Rice and Shirley H. LeJeune. Pallbearers will be family and friends. David Funeral Home, 1101 Trotter St. New Iberia, La. (337)369-6336 is in charge of arrangements.
