A native of New Iberia and a resident of Loreauville, Mrs. Walet passed away Friday, August 27, 2010 at 2:50 AM at her residence in Loreauville. She was employed at AVEX for 2 years.
Mrs. Walet is survived by her husband: Gregory Walet of Loreauville, daughters: Rachelle K. Walet and Kassidy C. Walet, both of Loreauville, mother: Nancy Broussard and step-father, Michael Broussard of Loreauville, grandmother: Evelyn C. Broussard of New Iberia, brothers: Pete Broussard of New Iberia, Trey Barber of Houston, Texas, sisters: Laurie Broussard of Savannah, GA, Michelle Broussard of New Iberia, Tara Miller of Huntsville, Texas, Tori Smith of Huntsville, Texas; uncles: Paul Broussard of New Iberia, Ted Broussard of New Iberia, Darryl Broussard of Seaford, DE and Eddie Broussard of Riverside, CA.
She was preceded in death by her father: William G. Barber.
Pallbearers will be: Trey Barber, Chuck Smith, Pete Broussard, Mike Durke, Eddie Broussard and Darryl Broussard.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Paul Broussard.
