Youngsville - A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Agnes Benoit Duhon, 96, will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 30, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milton. Reverend Louis Richard, Pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Broussard, will be the celebrant of the Funeral Mass and conduct the funeral services. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Sunday, August 29, 2010 at 9:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a recitation of the rosary at 6:30 PM . Visitation will resume on Monday, August 30, 2010 from 8:00 AM until time of service. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Catholic Mausoleum in Milton. A native of Lafayette Parish and a longtime resident of Youngsville, Mrs. Duhon passed away on Friday, August 27, 2010 at her residence. Her family felt she and her late husband Mr. Victorian Duhon were the epitome of good people. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great "great-grandmother and sister and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce D. Menard of Youngsville; sisters, Gladys Suire of Erath and Lucille Mouton and her husband, Antoine J.C. Mouton of Lafayette; grand children, Wayne Menard and his wife Missy of Florence, SC, Debbie Sue Smith of Youngsville, Tommy Menard and his companion Diana Robinette of Youngsville, Randy Menard and his wife Gwen of Youngsville, Brenda Guillot and her husband Daniel of Lafayette, David Menard and his wife Tina of Lafayette, Lisa Guillotte and her companion, Ricky Lavergne of Scott; 13 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victorian Duhon; her parents, Elier Benoit and Lorita Breaux Benoit; 3 brothers; 3 sisters and 1 great grandchild. Pallbearers will be Wayne Menard, Tommy Menard, Randy Menard, David Menard, Daniel Guillot, and Brad Guillotte. Honorary Pallbearers will be Adam Guillotte, Andrew Guillotte, David L.F. Menard, Jason Smith, Lynn Lemoine and Ricky Lavergne. Giftbearers will be Kathleen Menard, Natalie Guillot, Courtney Lemoine, Rylee Lemoine, Baylee Lemoine and Kimberly Guillot.
