New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Gordon James Hebert, Age 61, at 10:00AM Thursday September 2, 2010 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Ed Degeyter officiating. Musical selections will be played and sung by Karen Guidry. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday September 1, 2010 from 4:00PM until 9:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume Thursday from 8:00AM until service time. Born in Abbeville and a longtime resident of Iberia Parish, Mr. Hebert died Sunday August 29, 2010 at 7:42PM in Iberia Parish. Gordon enjoyed hunting and fishing and being outdoors. Survivors include his daughters, Heather Hebert Robino and Kara Hebert Arceneaux both of Youngsville; his mother, Dorothy Breaux Hebert of New Iberia; brothers, Blaine Hebert and wife Pat and Craig Hebert both of New Iberia; grandchildren, Gage, Micah and Alexis Robino, Breighan Hebert, Ava Sanders and Kameron Arceneaux all of Youngsville; one nephew, Bucky Hebert and wife Andrea of Broussard and a niece, Holly Hebert and friend Michelle Mendoza of Petaluma, California. He was preceded in death by his father, James P. Hebert. Pallbearers will be Blaine Henry Hebert, Craig Patrick Hebert, Blaine James Bucky Hebert, Jason Gage Robino, Micah Robino and Terry Nagim. Honorary pallbearers will be Randolph, Jeff, Paul, Holly, Pat and Simone Hebert, Rodney Mire and Hazel Judice. David Funeral Home, 1101 Trotter St. New Iberia, La.
