Loreauville- Funeral services will be conducted for Aymar J. Poon Dugas, age 86, Saturday, April 10, 2010 at St. Josephs Catholic Church at 12:00PM with Fr. Buddy Breaux officiating. Visitation will be Friday, April 9, 2010 from 2:00PM until 10:00PM with a recitation of a Rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume Saturday, April 10, 2010 from 8:00AM until the time of service. Inurnment will follow at a later date.

A native and resident of Loreauville, Mr. Dugas passed away Wednesday April 7, 2010 at 11:50PM in a local hospital. Mr. Dugas retired from Texaco after 30 plus years of service.

Survivors include his wife Beulah Laviolette Dugas of Loreauville; his sons, Lynn P. Dugas and wife Linda of Loreauville; Malcolm Dugas and wife Liz of St. Martinville; and Keith Dugas and wife Vicky of St. Martinville; his daughter, Maxine D. Bourque and husband Johnny of Loreauville; 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Dugas was preceded in death by his parents, Ide Dugas and Rose Bonin Dugas, his brothers, Nolan Dugas and Harold Dugas.

Serving as pallbearers will be Lynn Dugas, Jr., Cy Dugas, Ryan Dugas, Colby Bourque, Jake Bourque, Johnathan Bourque, Joseph Bourque and Kalun Dugas.
