Lafayette " Funeral services will be conducted for Mr. Dayton "Clint" Christian, Sr., 60, on Friday, April 9, 2010 at 7:00PM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Gaudin officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Friday, April 9, 2010 beginning at 10:00AM until 9:00PM.

A native of Mobile, Alabama and a resident of Lafayette, Mr. Christian passed away at 2:50PM on Tuesday, April 6 , 2010 in Lafayette, Louisiana. Mr. Christian worked in the oilfield and had been employed by Weatherford.

He is survived by his sons, Dwayne Christian of Mobile, Alabama, Dayton Christian, Jr. of Alice, Texas, and Stefan Christian of Alice, Texas; daughter Serena Davis of Alice, Texas; brothers Homer Christian of Ricardo, Texas and Richard Ben Christian of Kingsville, Texas; sister, Virgie Sis Holland of Howell Community, Mississippi; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kennie and Ailene Tanner Christian.
