Youngsville " A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Austin Vincent, 96, will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, September 3, 2010 at St. Anne Catholic Church with Fr. Mouton officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Youngsville on Friday, September 3, 2010 from 8:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at St. Anne Cemetery. Mr. Vincent a native and resident of Lafayette died at 7:00AM on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at his residence. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with family and friends, and drinking whiskey. He served his country in the U.S Coast Guard, and was employed with Superior Oil Co. for over 20 years. He survived by two daughters, Sarah Ann Romero and her husband Joe of Lafayette and Sam Teal of Corpus Christi, TX; two sons, Phemon Bonin and his wife Martha of Carencro and Mike Vincent of Youngsville; and five grandchildren, Jacob Romero, Joshua Romero, Jordan Romero, and Lori Vincent Romero. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Marie Romero Vincent; parents, Albert and Onezia Baker Vincent; four brothers, Gilbert Vincent, Galvey Vincent, and Cyrus Vincent; a sister, Youlande Hebert; and a grandchild, Phil Vincent. Serving as pallbearers will be Jacob Romero, Joshua Romero, Jordan Romero, Trevor Johnson, Kyle Fontenot, and Chad Clark. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Chance Guillory and Lance Dore David Funeral Home of Youngsville at 201 Lafayette St. (337)856-4155 will be handling the arrangements.
