Abbeville- Funeral services will be conducted for Daisy Marie Nolan, 54, on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 2:00PM at Macedonia Baptist Church, 607 South Bailey Street, Abbeville, LA 70510 with Rev. E. James Guidry officiating. Interment will follow services in St. Paul Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Macedonia Baptist Church in Abbeville on Thursday, December 30, 2010 beginning at 9:00AM until service time. A native of Harleston, MS and a longtime resident of Abbeville Mrs. Nolan passed away Friday, December 24, 2010 at a local hospital. She was employed with Robies Supermarket for many years. She is survived by her husband, Rod Nolan of Abbeville; mother, Marvis F. Nolan and her husband, Willie, Sr. of Abbeville; brothers, Rev. Terrance Wells, Sr. and his wife Cheryl of Harleston, MS, Anthony E. Borden of Abbeville and Willie G. Nolan and his wife, Sylvia of Abbeville; grandmother, Odessa Madison of Harleston, MS; sisters, Christine Borden of Three Rivers, MS., Sandra Shelvin and her husband, Donald Ray of Abbeville, Ida Borden Lewis of Houston, TX, Etta Rae Hills and her husband, Willie of Lucedale, MS and Michelle Borden of Moss Point, MS; goddaughters, April Shelvin , Danielle Levy and Alecia Levy all of Abbeville; devoted friend, Brenda Mire of Abbeville; godmother, Jeanette Johnson of Abbeville; great uncle, Harvey Fairley of Moss Point MS; uncles, Alphonse Simmons of Moss Point, MS and Claude Wells of Lucedale, MS; aunts, Alice Levine and her husband Chris of Abbeville and Julia Ned of Abbeville; sister-in-law, Lana Graham and her husband Willard of Abbeville; brother-in-law, Ted Nolan and his wife, Brenda of Abbeville and a host of step-brothers, step-sisters, nieces, nephews cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Metro Louis Borden; brother, Mitchell Louis Borden; sister, Joyce Guyton, mother-in-law, Maudry Hoffpauir; grandfather, Robert Madison and nephews, Hayden and Jamel.
