Erath " A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Marcy Bourque Hebert, 75, will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at St. Johns Catholic Church of Henry with Fr. Cedric Sonnier officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Erath on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 from 4:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 from 8:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum. A native and resident of Erath Mrs. Hebert died at 12:42AM on Sunday, January 5, 2014 Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center after a long courageous battle with cancer for eight and a half years. She retired from Hibernia National Bank after over 46 years of service. She also was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church of Henry where she served as Eucharist Minister; a member of St Johns Ladies Alter Society; and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Daughters of America. She is survived by a son, Chad Hebert and his wife Ann Lori of Erath; two daughters, Terrell Richard and her husband Michael of Erath and Shantelle Campbell and her husband Toby of Erath; eight grandchildren, Michael Richard, II, Maleigha Viator, Adam Hebert, Seth Bourque, Cole Bourque, Alison Bourque, Dustin Campbell, and Matthew Campbell; and four great grandchildren, Michael Richard, III, Nevaeh Richard, Kameron Viator, and Kinsley Hebert. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Hebert; and her parents, Ozard and Irene Broussard Bourque. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Richard, II, Adam Hebert, Dustin Campbell, Seth Bourque, Cole Bourque, and Virgil Hebert, Jr.. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Oswald Broussard, R. J. Domingue, Glenda D. Bettis, Jackie V. Lemaire, Lilly Ann V. Hebert, David Broussard, Dana B. Grubich, Gregory Broussard, and Scott Broussard. The readers will be Maleigha Viator and Dustin Campbell; gift bearers will be Matthew Campbell and Ali Bourque; and the musical selection will be by St. Johns Choir accompanied by Dana Granger and Ricky Meaux. The Family would like to extend special thanks to all Mrs. Marcys family and friends for their love, support, prayers, meals provided to them during that time, and those who drove her to her treatments. They would also like to thank Dr. David Rinaldi, Dr. John S. Thibodeaux, Dr. Kitakule, and Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center along with their staffs for their kindness and compassion during her illness.
