DUSON, Memorial services for Roxanne Thibodeaux Greene will be held Sunday January 12, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Our Savior Church Broussard Campus, June 17, 1956 " January 4, 2014 Born in Ville Platte, LA. Roxanne was the first child born to Ernest and Marjorie Nell Thibodeaux. On Saturday January 4, 2014, our beloved Roxanne went to rest with the Lord. Rox, Rocky, Roxie, as those who loved her dearly called her, was a loving mother and cherished friend who was very spiritual and devoted to God. She enjoyed many passions in life that included decorating, entertaining, and using her gift of creating. She loved events, as she knew life was full of them. It brought Roxie tremendous joy to make these events extraordinary by any means necessary, using her many artistic and creative abilities. She never missed a chance to give the best of herself. Roxanne always had a great idea and a way to do it. She was a people person who made you believe you could do anything. Her most treasured times were those spent entertaining her family, giving them the first class experience . Roxanne will leave a fond and lasting impression on everyone who she has crossed paths with throughout her journey of life. She is survived by her three children; Daniel (Hope) Ardoin of Ville Platte/Lake Charles, Shelly (Reginald) Flugence of Broussard, Jacob Landry of Duson, grandchildren; Haleigh Ardoin, Gabriel Ardoin, Andre Flugence, Andrew Ardoin, Silas Ardoin, Erin-Claire Ardoin, and Samuel Ardoin, three brothers; James Thibodeaux of St. Martinville, Anthony (Jill) Thibodeaux of Breaux Bridge, Gregory (Carol) Thibodeaux of Breaux Bridge and one sister Wendy (Tommy) Thibodeaux of St. Martinville. She was cherished by many family, friends and Monica. She was preceded in death by her father Ernest Thibodeaux and her mother Marjorie Nell Thibodeaux. David Funeral Home 316 Youngsville Hwy.
