Patoutville " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. L.J. Hebert the former Pearl Naquin, Age 93, at 11:00AM Thursday January 27, 2011 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church with Father Greg Chauvin officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:00AM until service time. A Rosary will be prayed Thursday at 10:30AM. A native of Franklin and longtime resident of Patoutville Mrs. Hebert died Tuesday January 25, 2011 at 7:22AM at her residence. Mrs. Hebert loved fishing, traveling with her husband and cooking and caring for her family. She greatly enjoyed visits from her family members and the lay ministers that served her communion from St. Nicholas Church. She was a devoted Catholic and member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church who said several Rosaries daily. She also enjoyed listening to Country and Western music. The family would especially like to thank the many caregivers she has had in the past years especially Velma Belanger and Gloria Johnson for their loving care and devotion. Survivors include one daughter, Phyllis H. Luke and husband Grant of Patoutville; one son, Lynn Hebert and wife Anita of New Iberia; one sister, Barbara Naquin Gorman of Franklin; two brothers, Leroy Naquin and wife Mercedes of Berwick and Charles Naquin and wife Rochelle of Lutcher; grandchildren, Jennifer Blackburn and husband Tommy of Houston, Texas, Rachel Mouton and husband Tony of Duson, Kevin Picard of Lydia, Jeff Hebert and wife Laura of Youngsville, Thomas Hebert and wife Dawn of New Iberia, Matthew Hebert and wife Carmen of Jeanerette and Stephen Hebert of Houma; great grandchildren, Tylor Picard of Austin, Texas, Tori Guillot of Jeanerette, Cam Picard of Athens, Texas, Ella, Lainey, Thomas and Whitley Blackburn of Houston, Texas, Courtlyn Boudreaux of Duson, Kirsten Hebert of New Iberia and Jack Hebert of Youngsville. She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 69 years L.J. Hebert; parents, Anatole and Marcelite Olivier Naquin; two brothers, John and Raymond Nookie Naquin and a young sister, Ruby Naquin. Pallbearers will be Jeff, Matthew, Thomas and Stephen Hebert, Kevin and Tylor Picard, Tommy Blackburn and Tony Mouton. Honorary pallbearers will be Leroy and Charles Naquin and Barbara N. Gorman.
