A Mass of Christian Burial for Jeramie Yuk Jones will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Our Lady of the Lake Church of Delcambre, with Fr. Herb Bennerfeld officiating. A wake service will be held at David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Friday, February 4, 2011 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Visitation will resume at Our Lady of the Lake Church on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Mausoleum. A native of Delcambre and a resident of Houston, TX, Jeramie passed away at 12:06 on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at his residence. Jeramie was a loving son, brother, uncle, and companion, who loved spending time with his friends. Jeramie was an employee of Bagwell Brothers for two years, and United Parcel Service (UPS) for three years, where he was currently employed. Jeramie loved playing sports, watching TV, playing video games, and riding around with his friends. He is survived by his loving mother Elizabeth Comeaux Jones of Delcambre; two sisters, Jessica Comeaux and her Fianc Corie Williams of Abbeville and Jillian and her husband Greg Bessard of Maurice, his companion of eight years Carla Pillette of Houston, TX, and her four kids Chawnikia, Carnesha, Michael, Jordan; and Carla's grandchildren, Rhyan and Khyle; three nieces Ashton and her husband Delmario Levene, Asya Comeaux, and Gabrielle Bessard, one nephew Gykel Bessard; a great nephew, Delvante Levene; a great niece DelNesha Levene. Three aunts; Lorraine Decuir, Cora Martin and Elnora Williams. Two uncles; Freddie Martin and Adam Montgomery and his wife Marlon. He was preceded in death by his father Will Joseph Jones; maternal grandparents Wallace and Mildred Comeaux; Paternal grandparents Will Montgomery and Octavia Zeno Jones; one aunt Mary Lou Comeaux Smith and three cousins; Willie Joe Williams, Lance Williams, and Mahalia Broussard. Serving as pallbearers will be Mitchell Johnson, Derik Darby, Arthur Shello, Schuyler Trahan, Kearn Dooley, and Iran Washington. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Lloyd Martin, Ashley Dozier, Travis Chambers, Shaunathan Thibeaux, Jeffery Broussard, Tyrone Bessard, Kalen Smith, Thomas Dozier, Spencer Mitchell, Jamie Archelle, Luke Landry, Jason Migue, Damien Jackson, and Ernie Broussard.
