Henry J. Broussard

Henry " Funeral Services for Mr. Henry J. Broussard, 72, will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at St. John Catholic Church of Henry with Deacon Cody Miller officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Erath on Sunday, January 23, 2011 from 9:00AM until the time of the service with a recitation of the rosary at 1:00PM. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery. A Native of Vermilion Parish and a proud resident of Henry Mr. Broussard died at 2:10AM on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at his residence. He was employed with Prairie Gregg Drainage for over 30 years and a member of the Cattlemens Association. He was known for his enjoyment of working with the land. He is survvied by his wife of 53 years Eleanor Landry Broussard of Henry; a son, Kirk Broussard and his wife Tracey of Henry; a daughter, Rexene Broussard of Milton; four grandchildren, Garrett Broussard and friend Mary Romero, Taylor Broussard, Renee Comeaux and her husband Scott, and Trey Poindexter; and two sisters, Hazel Perrin and Ena Toups both of Henry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aurelien Fils Broussard, Jr. and Alzire Comeaux Broussard. Serving as pallbearers will be Garrett Broussard, Taylor Broussard, Trey Poindexter, Scott Comeaux, Jude Baudoin, and Hank Moss. David Funeral Home of Erath at 209 E.
