Herbert Lee Levy

A native and lifelong resident of Abbeville. He was a US Veteran having served with the US Army, and was also a retired educator with 26 years of service with Vermilion Parish School Board having taught at both Forked Island, and E Broussard Elementary. Herbert also retired with 33 plus years from Abbeville General Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline Levy of Abbeville; his two daughters, Julia L. and her husband Felton Campbell of Dallas Texas, and Naomi R. and her husband Courtney Bell Sr. of Dallas; one son Kibbie and his wife Chekeitha L. Pillette Jr. of Fairfield Texas; his sister Martha Polk of Abbeville; his eight grandchildren Brittney and Kendall Campbell, Isaiah and Courtney Bell Jr., all of Dallas Texas, Kasey, Kori, Kaigen Pillette, and Tyrek Landry, all of Fairfield Texas.

Herbert was preceded in death by his parents Willie and Leona Alexander Levy; and one sister Vivian Compton.
