Abbeville " Funeral Services for Dorothy Clavier Vincent, 66, will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, June 17, 2011 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Cody Miller officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Thursday, June 16, 2011 from 10:00AM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, June 17, 2011 from 8:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at Landry Cemetery. A native of Church Point and a resident of Abbeville Mrs. Vincent died at 11:48AM on Wednesday, June 14, 2011 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital. She was known for her enjoyment of watching TV. She is survived by three daughters, Sheila Clavier of Abbeville, Susan Parker of Eunice, and Sally St. Amant of California; a sister, Emma Jean Trim of Opelousas; six grandchildren, Seth Clavier, Harley Schaubert, Pierre Barras, Randy Clavier, Trent Parker, and Lexy Mae; and a great grandchild, Jace Barras. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Vincent; parents, Dominique Clavier and Irene Lyons; and two daughters, Sharon Clavier and Sarah Abshire. Serving as pallbearers will be Pierre Barras, Spencer Hebert, Harley Schaubert, Dickie Lucas, Victor Hebert, and James Polk.
