Leatrice Landry Buteaux

Jeanerette- Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Wilfred Buteaux, the former Leatrice Landry, age 75, at 8:00PM Thursday, November 18, 2010 at David Funeral Home in Jeanerette. Brother Larry Hobbs will officiate the services. Visitation will begin on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 10:30AM and last all day until services at 8:00PM.

A native of Adeline, La. and a resident of Jeanerette, Tit , as she was affectionately known by family and friends, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2010 at 2:49PM at a local nursing home. Mrs. Buteaux enjoyed crocheting and caring for her grandchildren and family.

Survivors include her daughters, Lisa Buteaux and fianc Donald Landry of Jeanerette, and Angela Gros and husband Mark of Patterson; one son, Mark Buteaux and wife Tonia of Patterson; one brother, Leroy Landry and wife Lucille of Charenton; sisters, Irene Ladnier and husband Huey of Mississippi, Judy Bayard and husband Dennis of Lydia, and Barbara Clements and husband Louis of Centerville; grandchildren, Shea Guillotte, Shawn Landry, Belinda Marcotte, Misty Gros, Zachary Buteaux, and Hanna Buteaux; and great grandchildren, Deshawn Guillotte, Shane Guillotte, and Adaline Marcotte.

She was preceded in death by her, husband, Wilfred Buteaux;parents, Houston Joe Landry and Jeanette Barrilleaux Landry; son, Dale Buteaux; Stepson, Eddie Jackson; and Grandson Jerome Guillotte Jr.
